Agrar Simulator 2013 is a charming agriculture-themed simulation game that allows players to experience what it is like to drive various farm tractors while moving cargo between locations.

There are many simulation games out on the market currently, with new ones being made every year. For every player who wants to live the life of a celebrity or a deity or a fighter pilot, there are players who much prefer to enjoy more down-to-earth experiences. Agrar Simulator 2013 is a computer game developed for those video game players out there who can't get enough of agriculture or perhaps for those intrigued enough by the innocuous concept to give it a try.

Agrar Simulator 2013 is a farming simulator game with a focus on the tractor side of operations. The game features an impressive number of tutorials. These tutorials are meant to help players become familiar with the fundamentals of operating the various vehicles that are available. The problem is that many of these tutorials are not very clean and some fail to mention the actual controls entirely. This can be very frustrating for new players. To compensate for the poor tutorial videos, players can learn how to do rudimentary tasks such as mounting and dismounting a rig by going through the options and settings manually. When players finally figure out how the controls are set up, Agrar Simulator 2013 still has some issues. The biggest issue is that the tractor controls can be incredibly frustrating. For example, there are moments where if you accelerate too quickly, the graphics will glitch, and your tractor will suddenly dive forward straight into the ground, tires spinning, before suddenly ending back on the ground. All this just because of some fast acceleration. It might be amusing the first time it happens, but after a while, it just makes driving a challenge. In addition, some of the checkpoints can be incredibly picky, requiring absolute precision to properly register.

In a way, however, Agrar Simulator 2013's obvious faults become one of its greatest assets as the game's unpredictable glitches often lead to moments of intense hilarity. It could very well be that the questionable design choices of the game are intentionally weird. If the unintentional humor is not enough to make Agrar Simulator 2013 a consideration, then fans of trucks will be excited to see that major truck companies like Massey Ferguson and Valtra are featured in the game. In an odd way, the latter point only strengthens the first point. There is something oddly cathartic about sending a brand new, brand name truck barreling over a hill for the singular purpose of terrorizing a flock of chickens. The chickens, like the player, were probably not expecting that to be allowed, but Agrar Simulator 2013 disagrees, apparently.
